Respectfully, this is probably the wrong question.

If one takes the Biblical view -- that is to say the traditional or orthodox Christian perspective -- one can neither say that God "created" a person a homosexual, nor that He "curses" someone to hell for being a homosexual. Let me explain....

Christians believe that God directly created Adam and Eve, the parents of all humanity. Once they chose to sin in the Garden of Eden, their human natures were corrupted, tainted, condemned due to their transgressions. Because of their sins, they became subject to death, and they passed that "sentence" on to all the children they would parent and become ancestors to.

Now, when Adam and Eve began being "fruitful" and multiplying, the human beings THEY made through the physical process were NOT "immediate" creations of God (as were Adam and Eve), but "mediate" creations -- THROUGH the physical agency of the morally fallen parents of humanity. Thus, ALL humans were, and are, "born in sin."

This "sin" into which all humans are born is called "original sin," which is what all inherited via the mediate creation of human agency, all the way back to Adam and Eve. This also makes us not only vulnerable to, but bent toward, committing all manners of "sins" which God has from the beginning declared to be wrong, immoral, out of order, an "abomination," etc.

God did not "create people to be sinners," the human race became sinners through the first humans who chose to sin. Every human since then has inherited their natural ("original") inclination toward sin, and has thus chosen to sin personally themselves. I might add, while individuals "sins" might be different, ALL HAVE SINNED.

God has merely defined sin which is antithetical to His holy nature, and thus, to fail to repent of sin, is to condemn oneself to hell. "It is not God's choice that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" according to the Apostle Peter.

God did make a way of repentance, faith, and healing through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. The famous verse so often displayed at sports events, and the 2 following it, sum up this simple message that He wants every human to hear:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. β€œHe who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" (Gospel of John 3:16-18).

I hope this explanation makes sense. Blessings to you, and peace....

God isn't making the judgements. People are. They are the problem.

Good question! Why would god make a vast universe full of millions of galaxies, some of which are so far beyond our reach that we may never get near them? Seems rather wasteful doesn't it? Do you ever think that maybe there is no god?
