What does it matter now that the Israelis are attempting to exterminate the Palestinians and taken large chunks of their land plus has declared 30% of the most arable Palestinian land be part be part of a buffer zone, between the two countries. What solutions can be found when the Israelis determine what happens in Gaza above all protests. In other words NO.

I hear he is in favour of a Two state solution. But that idea has plenty of opposition towards it. So. . He may have found a solution, but it may never be implemented!

No! Obama is a smart man, but generations of smart men have passed and been unsuccessfull. He might find a bandaid to soothe things temporarily, but foreign governments have tried to intervene on numberous occasions, starting with the British, and now the UN with US input now and then, but all successes have been short lived. The problems go way back and are religious based. It's sort of the Muslims Mohamed vs. the Jewish God. They both believe it belongs to them. Even if you offered one side Hawaii in exchange for their claim, neither side would bite.

I love that Obama is digging in his heals about the settlements. Its the right thing to do. As far as solving the whole problem, I hope the big guns at the State Department will continue to step up their games the way we all expect them to do. There hasn't been so much talent and monies and resources available to the diplomatic corp. in decades! History will expect results!

I highly doubt it. I don't think there really is a solution to that problem.

No, it's beyond the capability of an individual.. It reminds me of this song from David Wilcox: http://www.davidwilcox.com/index.php?page=songs&display=1929&category=Airstream .
