No. How would this keep them from using other images?

also, why does it matter? Fake accounts are part of the internet.

3 months ago, I travelled 250 miles to meet a girl who didn't look nowhere near what she pretended she looked like... I would have saved £50 if I had used Google images reverse image search...

Maybe the lesson you should have learned is to look a bit closer to home and do it offline.

What's a bit blurry? What's that got to do with my answer to your question? You're asking because I highly doubt it? Huh?

I tried using it on a few of my own avatars, and it didn't work.

all you need to know is on here: http://www.google.com/insidesearch/features/images/searchbyimage.html basically, what it does is that it lets you upload or paste the URL of a picture and look for that picture on websites... which means you can find the origin of a picture... the picture my ex on here sent me, for instance, was not her, but was one of a not so well known model... she was surprised I was not surprised she didn't look like her picture when we met... :P

This is something new to me, too. Only reverse search I know of involves telephone numbers.

Reverse image search only works a small percentage of the time. When it first came out I tested it on random images and it couldn't even track back half the pictures I took directly off google images.

it may not spot ALL the images yet but I've had some surprises recently by using it... had I used it sooner, I'd known the picture my ex on here sent me was a fake...

I never use actual images of myself online. Too many wackos in the world.
