They're going to have to do something. It's the party of old tired white guys. A disappearing species. Thank God

They have lost women, blue collar and the non-white vote. They are too stupid to move out of their own way. As usual they will claim they lost because their not right enough. I say let them perish in their own swamp.

Right wing fundamentalist nuts will never be smart enough to separate politics from religion.

It seems they caused this political loss and the downfall of the GOP!

They need to split off the religious wing. Political policy should be about fiscal issues, not questions about individual's private lives. We need 3, 4, or 5 parties to choose from, not the current stupid two.

You are so right. The social issues where the GOP thinks they have to stick their noses in others peoples business caused their downfall.

If they had stuck to the economy and how they could fix it, they probably would have won. But they have too many so called social agendas. So until they get rid of the far right nuts and concentrate on the economy they will not have much luck.

Evangelicals need to decide whether they want to have a stranglehold on a losing party or be a part of a party that includes other viewpoints.

Republicans have always been conservative. Times are changing with more and more younger people who are more centre left inclined. They are more in tune with what is happening in the rest of the world. Where as the older folk are more deeply rooted in the old reasonings and are more prone to voting for the same party.
The battle ground is always the centre.

In 4 years when the debt is at 21trillion, unemployment at 9.4%+, I think that the obama supporters will still want someone like him. LMAO

As long as they can scare people by telling them whoever promises to fix the problem will also outlaw contraceptives and force them to join a church, then yes, I think they will.

It's obvious by the amount of people that say they will move to Europe/Canada/Australia that it's not about what the party stands for at all. They'll have to become more of a religion, being the second-best (of just two) wont help.
