I wrote about much of it, although it is fictional in parts and not a biography, in my novel Drunken Duck. It was a different time (in the sixties) so not as relevant as either a fictional story or biography about today's armed forces.
It's on Amazon and Amazon UK with a synopsis plus the Prologue and half of C. 1 on the "see inside" but in spite of it's cover it is not for everyone, the squeamish or children.
it's not pornographic, nor are there many swear words, some would think there are no swear words, and for someone over 15 or so it's okay, but it's stark reality about war and what people suffer through can be graphic and disturbing and there is some sensuality about relationships.
too much to write on here

Well it was only the one long weekend, but I had a lot of fun!
I'll tell you when you're a bit older. :-)
Believe me, degrees weren't necessary for what we did on that long weekend!
The degrees???? Okay! Good luck and all the best in the future, kiddo!
I was a Marine.
