How do you change it so I don't have to log in with a password everytime I turn the computer on ?

Is there any way I can save and send my bookmarks from my old comp to the new one without typing in the old addresses or using a cable ?

Not that I'm aware of. My daughter is the one with the Windows 8 laptop, and she spent a long time setting things up. I've got an iPad and have no intention of messing with Windows 8.

I had to replace my 6 year old computer that I am currently typing on........that has VISTA. The screen is going caddywonkers and the computer is beginning to fail me. Do you know how to go to the start menu like in the old OS and find defrag, clean disc, ......I obviously dont need it today if my comp is only a few hours old, but I was thinking about it and I can't figure out how to get there
