Winter is upon us(in the northern hemisphere) , so what's your favorite outdoor winter time activity?

Slipping and falling on my butt while trying to walk on the ice. Sure, it hurts a bit, but I find it funny.

I used to live in SC and this was still summer. Now, I'm pretty close to the vampires in Forks and my favorite not winter cause I also did the CO skiing everyday thing, my favorite it isn't warm and sunny is to hike in the rain through the glorious woods. With my rain gear and compass. The hardest thing about getting older is that your dogs get older too and they can no longer walk the long wet walk. I have a new lab that I'm click training to hike and so far he's been lost three times to the point that someone called me and I had to go and pick him up. I love dogs but it is so hard to get them to unleashed stay in your zone perfect and then in four years they are too old. So, I have many old snoozing dogs and one nut case Marley.

I know that the ski hill will be calling my name again this year and I also love snowmobiling and ice skateing with my kids and also going down a slope with my kids on a tractor tire tube! Oh and building snowmen and stuff!

oh my gosh..trying to answer with one thing is impossible! Breathing in the cool clean air... amazed at how the snowscapes are so beautiful and change constantly...spruce trees laden down under a blue sky... another day and the hoar frost has turned the scene into a monochromatic pallet of greys.... JUST BEING OUT DOORS seeing it all!!!

Looking out the window and watching people try to go to work on the snowy highway while we keep the fire in the wood stove going and chuckle?
