If you don't have any money they can't get any out of you either.I wouldn't worry about it.

It's funny... more than 50% of our taxes goes for defense spending... which goes straight into the profits and pockets of the wealthiest 1% which runs the U.S.

...and no one complains about it.

But try raising a FRACTION of that to insure the health care of actual human beings...

    ...and suddenly... we're outraged!

Every time we let this government and this pres. pass a new law thats just another one of our rights they are taking away. What about saving money and quit giving free health care to noncitizens look at the money wed save. Here is the answer get jobs for the american people that will decrease the debt and we can buy our own health care, I have always held a job and bought my own insurance till now. But its not just the US the whole world is in the same condition. No jobs less tax money get more jobs we can take care of ourselve get the gov. out of my life.

Last year we spent 929 billion on defense and 524 billion on Medicare. It's in the war profiteers best interest to convince the working class that the poor has their money.

MANINFULL....The only way to lower the cost of CARE and ultimately our individual costs is for nationalized health care and rationing. That's the elephant in the room.

gypsy said... could you be a lil bit more clea,r on what you mean as in rationing?

Your option will be to go where 99% of America will go ....to go on Medicaid. If you qualify, I guess.

It doesn't take effect until 2014, and alot can happen between now and then. There will be considerations for those with financial hardships, I recall reading. Don't worry too much about it now. If it happens, and it's enforced, there's not much any of us can do about it. But I consider it wrong and an injustice.

There is a provision for this scenario. A person will be placed into a medicare-like program, but it is more like a catastrophic program. There is no free program, somewhere down the road a person will have to pay for part of the care. I'm a trustee of two separate self-funded plans and have to attend continuing ed classes every 3 -4 months. Healthcare costs have leveled off already. the largest health plan company in the US, United Healthcare, had already stated that they would keep many provisions even if it had been reversed, mainly preventative care. That alone will reduce overall costs by at least 12%.
