For the most part there is more moaning and groaning going on when you get in and out of bed then there is when you are in it

Some things that didn't ache before, now do, other things that were once firm and taut, now, not so much...

The worst thing is the lead-up to it...we waste so much energy on worrying about getting to middle age, and how 'horrible' it's going to be....but then we get there, and realize it's not so terrible...I'm better now than I ever was, so bring it on!!!

That I had to wait this long to accept myself and others as is.
I love my smile lines. I am so glad all the horror stories are not true. I am wishing I had learned sooner that my worth does not depend on how sexy I am to a whole lot of people who done know or love me.

In sociology class, I was told the older one gets, the more he/she thinks about death. I haven't noticed I think of that much more often, but it does make sense. The worst think for me is that I get aches and pains and I am not as flexible as I once was.
