Yeah. I think so. Life is so unsure. And if he's anything like me, he would want to be sure he could handle the responsibility of a family. Making money and paying the bills is pretty much number one on the list, THEN wife, THEN kids. Rarely, does a man think about the whole package.

If you are the woman, then you probably need to let him know you like him, and want him as your husband. And that you will support him for the LONG run (the rest of your life) as long as he continues to do the necessary things.

I wouldn't move in with him with the kids until he was stable. That's asking for trouble.

And, I wouldn't let him move in with you. That's asking to take care of another kid.

yes. some guys might do. And that's not a bad thing. Taking on someone else's kids is a big step. He obviously wants to be sure because he doesnt want to enter a broken family without considering everything that comes with it.
you should re-assure him of his role within your family if he wants to be part of it. Don't give him any false hope, or set any rules that might damage his feelings towards wanting to be with you. you have to be straight though. You also need to consider your feelings for him. After all, you have a kid to think about and that child has to come first.

Probably, it's hard to take on a ready made family. He is interested in you, but when you date a family,you get attached to the child and children don't understand when people they love disappear from their lives. So be careful to not be pushy. It may take him a while to get his mind around the whole family thing. Let him feel it's his decision to take it any further. Good luck.
