    Yes, in the sense that a group of people with the same goal who come together to concentrate on reaching the same goal. Neecless to say, 'self-help' is in regard to helping to do something in which the person needs help; isolation would be in isolating and concentrating the effort to whatever the goal is and in doing so overcoming in numbers.

    If you are in a group it is not isolation!

    If the group is on a desert island that is isolation because they are isolated.

    I have never found self help groups work!
