    Yes, it helps that I know something about hypnotism, and how one can use it in a therapeutical setting.

    if it could erase my childhood abuse I would but I wouldnt want to lose the good memories with my cousins and maw maw...

    I had hypnotherapy to treat a phobia that was caused by a series of traumatic events, so yes, and it worked out great, i can only recommend it. However, there's nothing supernatural or spooky about being hypnotized and you won't lose your consciousness. It is just a state of very deep relaxation.

    I've never needed it. Does hypnotism in humans actually exist? I'm still not convinced.
