yes freedom of speech has limits in that if it causes harm to another or cause's people to do harm to others(you can't yell fire in a crowded place when there isn't one). But stating a opinion (whether right or wrong) is everyone's right. Just because people are idiots at times and speak before thinking just makes them look stupid and worth the pity of others. Josh5v says it best. creating violence by being offended by something someone says is just as bad as offending someone....

No, I think people have a right to be as stupid as they want and anyone who reacts with violence to a stupid person's opinion is simply demonstrating that they are just as ignorant.
