Why would you be upset if your child got a JOB period? Taking care of a dog and getting paid for it is far better than paying child support for 18 years!

This is a puppy. It is. "TRAINED" . would you explain that?
I think you meant to say it is. "untrained". Maybe your parents don't want the house destroyed with dog waste.

Not at all. I would be proud of any child of mine that would take care of an animal. There must be good care taken though. At least two walks every day. Morning and evening. Playing with the dog is important, makeing sure the water bowl has new water twice a day. Love the dog and for all this you get some money and some dog owners who will be your friends through thick and thin. I would consider the job a great achievement and it shows that someone may go far in life if they are willing to take on a responsible job as dog care. If your parents don't think so then shame on them. You are doing the right thing!

no . i would say she,s trying to show, that she.s willing to take the responsiblity. of a pet. by also makeing money on the side. in stead of asking her parents for money.it,s just one way of her growing up.but some kids look for a new paper ruite.

it could be that you didn't ask 1st or that they just don't like dogs

but i would not be upset about it at all...as a matter of fact if my 9 yr old got a job to do that i would be fine with it. I think i would be proud of her.

i dont have a child so i dont know but personally i wouldnt. i mean i have a habit of bringing in strays from the street and they arent trained and they cost money rather than earn me it. i think my parents would prefer that tho what i do.

all depends on the dog and its trained so i guess it will be ok but id still be careful animals have tendencies to attack for no reason

There is always a reason. I used to have a pet rat that apparently attacked it's cage mate for no reason. Turned he had epilepsy and what he perceived as reality was probably a little different than his cage mate. Hormonal imbalance, previous traumatic experience, born with undetected brain damage, there is always a reason.
