Would you be okay about it if someone you didn't know called you babe/darling/sweetheart/love/hon etc?

I hate it and it really bugs me for some reason, mainly because I don't know them.

That's actually one of my few "Pet Peeves"=
a woman I never met, (or barely know) calling
me those names. It ****** me off and its a
sudden & complete deal-breaker & epic snub.
Now if guys do it I kinda like it!Like (1)

I'm in Texas and people from here and the South do it all the time. We respond with "thank you" and "Ma'am. "

No and why? Because if its a guy he's a PR.ICK. If its female, she's a manipulator.

Yes. I do it all the time. As long as it's meant in an innocent way, I'll take it in an innocent way.

I don't mind. But would be weird if they call me sweetheart and giving me the seductive eyes at the same time. That is a negative for me. Unless I like you :)

eh. People do it all the time. I don't really care. If it's a man, and he's being sexist or condescending in his tone, then I don't like it. Typically, when it's 'hon', or 'honey' it's a middle aged female or older, so that doesn't bother me.

I'm okay with that. Long as I'm not called late for dinner, that is. =O)

That depends entirely upon the type of relationship I have with the individual.

I personally call everyone Hun, sweetheart, suga, babe, dude, man, homey, chick, and much more. It's just how I am. I playfully give lower names. It's not for a sexual or mean reason. Mine is just to be funny and kind. I'm in the south it's part of our southern hospitality.
