I hate it and it really bugs me for some reason, mainly because I don't know them.
Sweet words by any stranger has suspicion in my mind. even I don't like it.
That's why I don't like it.
I personally call everyone Hun, sweetheart, suga, babe, dude, man, homey, chick, and much more. It's just how I am. I playfully give lower names. It's not for a sexual or mean reason. Mine is just to be funny and kind. I'm in the south it's part of our southern hospitality.
some say it's a turn off but for me it's turn on. I like affectionate names, it makes me feel loved. ^^;
That's actually one of my few "Pet Peeves"=
a woman I never met, (or barely know) calling
me those names. It ****** me off and its a
sudden & complete deal-breaker & epic snub.
Now if guys do it I kinda like it!
No and why? Because if its a guy he's a PR.ICK. If its female, she's a manipulator.
Oh, shure, hun. Be right back with some coffee, sweetheart. Anythin else today, darlin?
Sounds like every little breakfast place south of Ohio...
Yes.. it seems completely fine to me :3
Nope, not a problem. Southern.
I live in the south, it happens daily, and I do it too.
if they're cute
i'm pretty sure i would cope
I don't mind. But would be weird if they call me sweetheart and giving me the seductive eyes at the same time. That is a negative for me. Unless I like you :)
I dont read into it so it doesnt really bother me
eh. People do it all the time. I don't really care. If it's a man, and he's being sexist or condescending in his tone, then I don't like it. Typically, when it's 'hon', or 'honey' it's a middle aged female or older, so that doesn't bother me.
I'm okay with that. Long as I'm not called late for dinner, that is. =O)
That depends entirely upon the type of relationship I have with the individual.
yeah...id be a mess if i wasn't...happens all the time
Fine by me I call eveyone sweetie or sweetheart or baby
Yes it would not bother me one bit
