Saturnalia comes from paganism and is the basis of many of the Christian traditions. Saturnalia there was a celebration from 17th Dec to 25th Dec. and in this week chaos was allowed, there were no laws and people were allowed to do what they liked even kill each other. The highlight of the celebration was on 25th Dec. This is the day the Church adapted to be Jesus Birthday Celebration. Because at that time the Church needed more people and wanted to win Pagans into Christianity. So the Church came to a compromise and adapted the Pagan traditions so that they could win the people for the Church. So Christians are really copying pagans. When I found out the truth about the Christian traditions where they came from I was shocked that I had been doing things that had an evil origin. It's no wonder I changed my religion! I was brought up Christian, went to Church school, went to Church, went to Sunday school, prayed 4 times a day, read the Bible, and had religious lessons, so it is not as if I know nothing about Christianity. Luckily I found another religion that is not based on Paganism and Saturnalia.

Pagan isn't the terrible term that most people nowadays take it for. In history, Paganism was the "other" religion before Christianity. Truth be told, it wasn't a religion, however. It is a term the early Christians coined to describe anyone who wasn't a Christian.

If you believe in only one great almighty God with no partners, and no likeness then your religion is Islam. If you believe in Jesus and Mohammad (SAW) as Prophets, if you believe in helping others, if you believe there is an afterlife, If you believe in Paradise, If you believe in Hell fire, If you believe in sex within marriage then your religion is Islam.
