No. And I'd get custody of the cake.

depends. If I did something really really bad that even I can't handle and it was reasonable enough that he just did that because he wasn't able to hold back soon enough. Then I guess there's nothing wrong with giving him a second chance. But if he does that again, then I guess even if he plays dead for a century I wouldn't care.

That is no way to live I don't understand why a person would go back to that. ;-)

hmm (changing man to girl) it depends how bad honestly, emotionally I get hurt more then physically so if she hit me, I would be depressed that it came to that im so sorry if that happened. No one should have to handle an Abusive relationship

I've never been in a physically abusive relationship. Just verbal. It's just a question and thanks for your answer.

I've had many female friends that this happened to. It's absolutely unbelievable what some of them say to justify going back to that type of relationship. But the main reason is always "But I love him".

After the second time I always tell them "If he hits you once he'll do it again, if you enjoy being a punching bag then go back, just don't ask me to get involved again".

I've never been in a relationship with a man, nor do I plan to. In response to the later part of you question.............usually people that hit, don't "mend their ways", and given the chance become repeat offenders.

This question wasn't meant for me. It's just a question. I'm not in a relationship and haven't been for over a year now. My sister made me think of this question because she's the one that needs some sense.
