No. I'd direct them to the local police station. Local law enforcement will take such folks to the food pantries that the local churches have.

That's really nice, but many of them want nothing to do with the police, for the very reasons that I don't want them in my home.Like (1)

I'd offer them food or money, but unless I know them, I'm not inviting them into my home.
