Would you put so much faith in God that you would give up all your possessions and let God guide you on a journey?

And the journey means you will have to walk 616 miles and tell everyone you meet about your faith in God while on this walk.

I don't believe in God. And even when I did, I still wouldn't do something like that. So hell no.

Not unless some God appeared to me in ways that were convincing enough to know he/she/it is real, and I am not delusional.

In Hindu there is only ONE GOD, just many incarnations of God. but still only ONE GOD.

Yes, I would. My only concern would be knowing I am listening to and hearing God. I can doubt myself. I never have doubt about God, and demonic forces masquerade as God just to mess a believer up.

I had an experience where I did not want to push my faith on anyone else. If I was able to get out of the house which happened less than more I would go to church. I always had to sneak out of the house to go to church as child. My mother did not like me leaving the house. She took me to a theripist. The theripist convised me if I believed than others my not. Maybe it is just my own delusional way of remembering things but that is how I remember it. Anyways I did not want anyone to stop anyone from beleiving so I stopped believing. God was something only a person could believe in if he/she wanted to. God was not some Nazi that that did not give a choice. A few years later man did God remember the child going to church if he could. So, let us just say like it says in the book of Job if I did not pain anyone nobody would talk to me. I lost a lot but God taught the lesson of belief.

Probably not. I feel that we shouldn't have to give up our possessions just to go on a journey (and when most people worked hard to earn what they have). Why do you need to tell everyone how great god is to you, you and god should be your business not everyone elses. But how would you know it was him guiding you on a journey? I'll stick with what I've got already, after all the possessions and people in my life are dear to me (possessions such as heirlooms, you know sentimental stuff). I am not gonna give up the possessions in my life that keep me close to my loved ones that have passed alway...and I am not gonna worry those that I love by leaving everything to go on a journey.

my possessions were quite few, abruptly it was taken from me without defense then my life just stopped, apparently God seemed to take everything from me and just left me alone. what is the faith for anyway?!

He has done that to me four times in my life. two of those time included children, I still have faith. See God takes away everything from those he truly loves because He doesn't want us to have those distraction. why put so much love and need in such temperary material things...

No, but I'd be willing to graciously accept any possessions people care to give up. Cash, money orders, and major credit cards preferred.

Maybe, if God made it explicitly clear to me then I might just do it. I may be better off at the end then when I started?

why would he have to explain, He is God, If He says to do this dont you believe that He has great reward for you if you do this without all the questions, just by faith.

I dont mean for God to explain, just show me the way. If I must walk then all I ask is a sign from God that I must walk, etc.
