There is a few people I dont smoke in front off not just on Christmas but any other day .... I respect them too much.
I wont entirely quit smoking I'll go for smoke breaks around the bush ect.

Giving up an addiction at a time your whole family is stuck with you seems a little selfish to me - wait till the new year when the mood swings have less impact on others.
