Would you rather die young, live to middle age or live to be very old?

I don't want to live to an age where I can't take care of myself.

After watching my father die of a prolonged illness, I asked my doctor two questions.

The first was "Since both of my parents lived into their 80's, what are the chances that I will live into my 80's?" He told me the odds were pretty good.

The second was "What can I do to prevent it?" He didn't answer that one.
