I would rather live in the country and I do. Ideally I like to live where most people would like to go for a holiday. The way I see it why only go to nice places for holidays. You may as well live there! So in the last decade I've lived in a ski resort in Japan for 7 years and now in a beach resort town in Australia. It's better than living in a city, that's for sure.

Suburbs of a medium size city or in a rural area not too far from town. Gas is too expensive to live really far away from business.
