Would you rather see a movie by yourself or eat in a fancy restaurant by yourself?

I have eaten in a kinda fancy restaurant by myself, but it's not a lot of fun.
I would choose the movie, then I wouldn't have to share my popcorn! :D

treetopflier	Posted Jul 4th, 2009 at 10:35PM i would much rather eat somewhere by myself. you can't pick up a chick at the movies. they always have dates. but at a restaurant there's usually a bar that some lonely fat chick could be sitting at getting hammered. good times good times. ladybug1234	Posted Jul 4th, 2009 at 9:34PM Both are kinda lonely to do by oneself, but maybe watching a movie alone wouldn't be as bad because I don't need to talk to someone while watching a movie unlike when dining in a fancy restaurant which is best shared with someone over good conversation. ;) Rated: +1Vote for this!

Yohanna	Posted Jul 3rd, 2009 at 3:08AM Movie! Where I used to live, I went out on my own. The local movie theatre was quaint. It was dark and I didn't feel like I was being stared at. At one of the local churches they held movie nights. They were full of great people and the movies were wholesome and free! At one of the local cafes they had foreign film nights. More good people there - and the movie cost was to buy something from the cafe! :-) Rated: +1Vote for this!

sara3sara	Posted Jul 3rd, 2009 at 3:47AM Movie. Movies require little effort and they ingage you. When I go out to eat alone I go to chilis or somewhere cheap and yummy to pig out. It's all about the food. At fancy restaurants so much effort is put into ambiance that it would almost be a waste to experience it without a romantic interest or close friend. Rated: +1Vote for this!

Eating somewhere people look at you with pity and I can't stand that! lol If I am eating by myself it's Taco Bell drive through and sitting in the corner of a parking lot somewhere. an7ya	Posted Jul 3rd, 2009 at 5:16AM I have been to movies by myself. Sometimes I like my own company or no one else was interested. I have been to regular restaurants alone and infact there are usually a number of people who go to restaurants alone. As for a fancy restaurant well, I would feel uncomfortable at a fancy restaurant alone esp. if its full of couples. Rated: +1Vote for this!
Bluegrass	Posted Jul 3rd, 2009 at 8:08AM The movie as I am comfortable seeing it by myself and won't grope myself in the dark (much). I have been to a restaurant on my own (whilst travelling) and feel a bit self-conscious about it as if people are thinking 'why is she on her own?' I don't want to justify myself to strangers!!!
