Resolved Question

Would you remain friends?

So, lets say you have a close friend, or sibling who has a significant other that you have become close with. The two of them break up, would you remain friends with their former lover?

Thats a good question and I would because the problems they had are theirs and my friend should respect that and my decision.

Yes, I like a person for who they are not for who they are involved with.

Yes, I am still very good friends with my daughter’s ex-husband…..Then again, so is she……I would have stayed his friend anyway, though

He is the biological father of our youngest 4 children….When he and our daughter divorced they asked us to raised the kids( our biological grandchildren). We told them we would, but neither one of them would be allowed to walk out of the kids’ lives….

That was 3 years ago and both he and our daughter have been true to their word and are still very close to all four kids…..

Sorry for the long answer…..

That is the differences between friend and true friend. Friend will be with you only when you're happy but true friend will stay forever
Why should you break your friendship because one of them break up each other? Yes I'll remain their friend.. Both of them.

I'd continue the friendship, unless the friend's significant other was abusive etc.
