    ive been more of the thinking that love is impossible without respect of late tbh.

    my answer is no,you cannot separate the two,it has to go together,love first and then everything will follow,you may have all these things,hope,faith,long-suffering,respect,forgiveness,giving, you name it ,but without love,these things doesn't work at all.love is patience!
