Resolved Question
Would you stick in a relationship if your marriage proposal was denied?
Considering you are both VERY in love with each other.

No, I wouldn't stay. To me, personally, it would mean only one of two things:
1) The person does not love me in the same way I love him (regardless of what he has said)

or

2) He does not value marriage the same way I do.

Either way, I think the relationship would be over.

It would depend on *why* my proposal was denied...

Yup, I'd stick with it - if I love him, I'd stay regardless of whether he wanted to marry me or not.

Yes, if she is a person of integrity -- and if she and I are better off together. If not, I'd move on.

Yes, if the denial was reasonable, like if the other person was not ready for the step or if he or she doesn't want to marry no matter who the other person is. There're many people who do not see marriage as a important or necessary step in their lives or don't believe in it.
So I would stay.

yes I would. =) if we loved each other VERY VERY much I would wait and give it more time. Marriage is important but I would sacrifice anything for love.

I would have to say I would! Granted, I'm a girl, so proposing isn't too common (yet) for females to do. But I would still stick around unless the guy said something really stupid, like, "Ew I'd never want to marry you".

yes. I would never propose to a man because i don't believe in marriage. But if I did and he denied me, it would depend on his reasons. You can really love someone and want to be with only them without wanting to get married. I would try not to take it personally.

I would stay for ten minutes...in case he changed his mind. I'd need that long to pack my stuff anyway.

Just because your marriage proposal was denied, doesnt mean you should "throw in the towel", so to speak. It could be that your mate is NOT quite ready to make that commitment, right now.BUT that doesnt mean that he/she wont accept some other time, down the road. TRUE LOVE is Unconditional, married or not!If you love this person, your love will remain...ANYTHNG WORTH HAVING IS WORTH WAITING FOR.OF COURSE THE CHOICE IS YOURS AND NO ONE ELSE CAN MAKE THST DECISION BUT YOU.
