    Yes, I would like to know the truth. At least that way I know my subsequent decisions are not based on lies that may backfire into the future.

    Absolutely. Basing decisions or ideas on lies just wrecks things, and there's no indication until later that you're heading in the wrong direction.

    yes, the truth hurts for now, but you can get over it, a lie hurts later and is more difficult to recover from
