    No it would not. Pain is your cue to stop whatever you are doing because you are damaging yourself. We would be faced to rely on common sense. Think what a different world THAT would be.

    Um, no. ALL of the emotions we feel make us human/separates us from the "animals". P.S. , I'm pretty sure people who don't feel pain are either psycho killers or on PCP. . .

    I watched something on TV a few months ago about an whole family who have this condition in Italy. Believe me, you don't want it, like trying to walk on a broken leg

    Although, it may seem that pain has no purpose, it actually helps to protect us from more serious harm. It causes us to pull our hand out of the fire, or seek medical attention for other problems, like infection.

    Actually, no. It is a disorder that Lanza guy had, who committed the mass murder in Connecticut. His inability to feel physical pain, even from a cut or burn, was one of his disorders.
