Resolved Question

Xmas shopping. Have you started yet.?

when my kids were little I had all their gifts done by end October. Now I just give them money and a small gift. I do buy gifts for 2 small children still and their gifts are the only ones I have so far.

Why do we bother with getting gifts for people. Im always thankful when someone gives me cash for no reason, its even better than gifts because you can buy anything you want with it :)

emperorofcali	Posted Nov 7th, 2009 at 6:40PM I always found it sad when I was a kid that adults fu.cked up all the fun of christmas by stressing about what they needed to buy instead of what they looked forward to getting. That, to me, was one of the many things that made adults seem dead and futile, and was an emotionally mutilated zombie that I asked Santa to never turn me into. He said he didn't turn kids into that. Their parents do. Then he kicked down some money, or some trite meaningless "why-even-try" gift like that and disappeared for several decades. Rated: +1Vote for this!
