You life by fives?

Detail your life by five year periods or ten if you are as old as me. That is where were you on that birthday.

Birth

10 years old. social backwards

20 years old.Landed in Vietnam

30. Sophomore in college, wife and three kids.

40. Doing nothing due to war injuries.

50. Wife, four kids, five grand kids, still recovering from injuries. Very depressed.

58. Very depressed but remarkable recovery.

5 - living in NY city - murder on front steps
10 - Mom's gone, Dads in the bars, I'm on my own
15 - high school drop out
20 - a mother for the second time
25 - on the verge of marriage (for the second time)
30 - depressed more than you can possibly imagine, on the verge of divorce (for the second time)
35 - on my own, financially independent, happy.
40 - happier and healthier than ever in my life - mother of 3, grandmother of 4.... life is looking good!

*sigh* I started to do this but realized I am too young to put down anything meaningful. Or maybe just too boring?

Born
5 - start school
10 - been raped
15 - tried suicide
20 - got engaged
25 - realised mistake and left fiance
30 - became a qualified counsellor
35 - totally happy with life and in love

10- I was being molested by step- father.
20- I had a baby girl.
30. Got divorced!
35. I was pursing a associate degree in Business Management.
SOryy, I haven't reached 40 yet!

5-Started school.
10-Started experimenting with drugs and alcohol.
15-Used drugs and alcohol daily.
20-Used heroin daily. Went to jail. Stopped doing drugs.
25-Eight months away still.

15: Noticed boys were not girls
20: Busy school, work , friends
25: Thought love had to hurt to be love
26: Am tired , weary , a little scared but never felt so alive!
