I've had panic anxiety disorder for many years. The best thing to do is get on a medication regime. I doubt seriously if it could ever kill you. My doctor told me that I may feel like I am going to pass out and that is the worst that would happen were I hyperventilating too much during an attack. The only thing is, years of having panic attacks without medicating to calm them could cause high blood pressure so it's just best to get it taken care of. Figure out what is causing it and deal with it.
