My guess was chicken cooked and eaten without the skin. The la
yers involved are skin, flesh, bones.
I see some people say corn. Corn on the cob also fits the description, as does chicken without the skin. And the answer about meat being fur/feathers, flesh/skin, and organs/bones is good. Like (1)

Meat in general. You throw away the fur, feathers. You cook the inside, then you eat the meat and skin, but not normally all the organs and extra stuff inside get thrown away
