There was one teacher in Junior School (ages 7-10) who used to scare the crap out of me. Looking back I realize he was the best teacher I ever had.

Mr. Axe
Garland High School, World History

Talk about an intelligent man. Very funny, witty, and had a great view of the world. He also had no tolerance for stupidity and made that clear on a daily basis. It's been over sixteen years since the last time I sat in his classroom, but I remember him clearly.

A teacher I had in high school. He was so important to me. A huge support. After I graduated we would have lunch once in a while and no for all the sickos there was nothing going on! He was a father figure and was always there for me. He died in 2005, but I will always remember all the great advice he gave me:)

My college algebra teacher two semesters ago. He. Was. Awesome. He was the best teacher I've ever had. His methods were solid, we was fair to his students, and truly wanted you to learn. He was there to teach and he taught his *** off. I wish I had him for my math class this semester... :/

most memorable...year 10 maths teacher.. *shudders*
ill recant one most memorable class in which he completly freaked me out... i was most contently playing games on my calculator, when he walks over... "woof" he says.. i look at him with a confused expression. "woof?" i query, "woof"he once again states... my expression hardens slightly. "woof" i say with more feeling behind it. once more, he most vaguely says "woof" before walking away... i look to my frend, and he looks to me. both of us having no idea wtf just happened. So i proceed to contently play games on my calculator.. ^^

My favorite teacher, Miss Masters, taught me Latin for three years. She was a brilliant, well read, very knowlegeable person who had the most delightful sense of humor. She could tell all kinds of anecdotes and stories about the ancient Romans in a way that sounded like the latest gossip, making them seem like real, fascinating people you would want to know.

I liked most of my math teachers. One who is particularly memorable was the one I had in Jr Hi.

She was a model teacher, in that she was very organized and practical. I guess I fell in love with math because of her. She also had a sense of humor and she was fair.

As I said, she was practical, rather curt also and a bit mannish somehow. She did have a rep of being strict so I was naturally afraid when I realized I took my home practice notebook instead of my homework notebook.

I told her that, in a low scared voice and what do you know... She barked what could be taken as a laugh and lightly poked my head, saying, "Oh, you silly girl."

Taught me honesty too, she did.
