Most people are against abortions until they need one themselves. Either that, or they're male and will NEVER know the emotional and physical harm of being forced to give birth a child they don't want.

Your body; your choice. NO ONE has the right to tell another person what to do with their body.

Maybe you should think about that BEFORE you have unprotected sex

Maybe you should think it's none of your business, and believe me, (and I know), you can get pregnant even with condoms. I had a miscarriage so I am not even referring to myself, but I got pregnant using condoms I had just bought, checked the expiry date and they were not ultra-thins (as this is a higher risk), and was unable to use hormonal birth control due to previous adverse effects which resulted in 3 years of serious health problems to the point of chest pain, tingling in limbs and difficulty moving limbs at times, pain in my arms, insomnia and depression as well as acne, severe dermatitis and considerable weight gain and long-term loss of menstrual cycle. So maybe as a man, who will never experience this, shut the **** up.

I believe it is always a sad and regrettable action, but also believe it is a personal decision to be made by an individual guided by their very own emotional, social and moral makeup, and that I , and the government have no place in that decision.

Finally, only the business of the woman concerned. Its a no win situation and probably the most fraught decision she will ever make either way. So unless you are going to be supportive, butt out and let her get on with it.

From an objective point of view: it's a good thing during times of over-population. Not getting pregnant in the first place is another one.

From a philosophical point of view: it saves the person-to-be from living in this damned world, from suffering in it and from causing suffering to others... beginning with the parents (oh, that was dark)

From an ethical point of view: it's not our decision to make, whether this child wants to live this life or not. But we can't ask the child and even if we could, it had no experience to make such a decision, so we must give it a chance.

From an emancipated point of view: it's the womens call to make, it's her body. I'm just a guy and have no saying in this.

But all in all I just think: women, if you don't want a baby, don't risk getting pregnant. If you get pregnant anyway, adoption sounds nicer than abortion. If you don't want to give birth, because it changes your body, that sounds egoistical and irresponsible, but is fine by the law... at least learn from this.
If you have been raped and it's the rapist's child, go ahead, do what you must. You have my blessing.

Every case is different. You can't judge someone until you've lived in their shoes.

Never really had strong views either for or against. But definitely believe that there are too many of the wrong sort of people reproducing (hence the world being in the sad state it is in now).
Best method of population control is to educate the women.
I wonder if this would even be an issue if both men and women could get pregnant?
