I came from a big family of four brothers and 1 sister so you can only imagine what kind of cereal we had to eat growing up. My mom would buy a giant bag of puffed wheat and puffed rice with no sugar. We were rationed only 1 teaspoon of sugar to compliment the boring cereal. She had to do this because we were almost poor and had to stretch the food budget. Now that I am grown I buy kiddy cereal like froot loops, captain crunch, or my favorite lucky charms. I love those little marshmallows that float around in the milk just waiting to be fished out with the spoon and gobbled up.
