I have a small ficus benjamina. and for those who don't know what that  is its a fruitless fig tree or a weeping fig tree. the tree is actually really pretty when the dogs don't try to ruin it. it has lasted through a lot of weather and different other things too. our tree is a surviver. :)

Oh, It's this really pretty stuff, it's gray and has rocks in it. It doesn't need watering except for when you first "plant" it and you never have to weed it. I think they call it concrete.

I have almost 250 different varieties of plants, trees and shrubs in my garden. This year I'm all about cool begonias and some new ferns. I also found an orange sedum ! We planted lots of cucumbers so we can make pickles.

i can't even think of them all, but what i can-- is a huge rose bush, (that Mark and i had to trim back...it was at least 41/2 feet high, under the dining room window) begonias, 3 kinds hostas, 3 kinds lillies, petunias, carnation looking things, huge crawling vine thingy with pink flowers, impatiens, brown eyed susans galore, tons of shasta daisies , some ground bush thing with yellow flowers, another cabbage like thing with pink flowers, omg...i just can't remember the names of them all :) oh, and a huge extremely high purple lilac tree out back--oh the aroma. I can't even describe the rest or what the heck you call them, but the only annuals i have are the begonias and impatiens and petunias...all the rest are perenials.

The bores got the squash. 2nd run of radishes are eaten. Herbs are as follows-sage, rosemary, thyme, tarragon, bay leaf, mint, lemon balm and basal. Scallions are making onions. Tomatoes, egg plant, & 4 types of peppers are doing well. Happy gardening! Iif i can't eat it, I don't want to grow it.

I have a bunch of Naked Ladies that are in bloom. I love my Japanese Maple and Crepe Myrtle trees. There's a small vegetable garden in the back corner with tomatoes, red & yellow peppers, green beans, cucumbers & squash. Red, Yellow & Piink Rose Bushes, some Hens & Chickens here and there,  lots of Lavendar & a lovely lilac tree..........I love my little English Garden/Faery Land :)

we never really do a garden anymore. We did when I was younger and we would plant everything, not that it would grow...... Well anyway it's been years since we purposely planted stuff and the only thing that we can't stop growing are strawberries. They acutally spread and grow in our side yard and front yard now.
