o me one of the biggest blessing God gives us is the privilage to be called His children. That is a gift from God that no one deserves.
You hear people say all the time that we are all children of God. This just is not true. When we accept Jesus Christ as our savior we are addopted into the family of God. This is when we become a child of God. It is God's gift to us. And what a blessing it is to be able to call Him Abba Father!

 | Posted Dec 25th, 2008 at 10:18PM No one deserves to be able to call Him Father be not only can we call him Father but we can call Him Abba Father which is to call Him Daddy. To all the ones who are reading this if don't have an earthly daddy God wants to be your daddy. There are times even when I was the closest to God that I didn't act l very Christ like. We will all stumble and fall. We all have sin that we need to get out of our lives. I let this get me down sometimes. I ask God how He can look at me the way I am and desire to call me His child? How can a Holy God love a dreadful sinner like me? The answer is because when He looks at us He sees the Blood of His Son Jesus Christ from which we were washed clean from all our sins. Trust in Him and you will always continue to grow in Him and you will always be His daughter. "He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber." Psalms 121:3 +2 nods |
