I Will Tell You Mine If You Will Tell Me Yours.

It starts like this:
I was in bed drifting off to sleep when....

Happy to make a difference!

I like that term a lot. I'm going to have to adopt it...cynical romantic, that's awesome!

Wow! That sent shivers down my spine. I once actually got hit by a rock on my forehead as an 8 year old. The guys were throwing stones into the lake (we lived beside at the time)
I was standing behind my future (now Ex ironically) boyfriend, and he managed to hit me on the head. Your story reminded me of that incident. Also the lake in question is surrounded by woods. The way I see it is that if you look for something you will find it because the world is made of random/chaos which we all try to make sense of, and there is sooo much going on everywhere all at the same time, that we are inevitably find bits of jigsaw puzzle that fit together and make us feel connected. But then I'm a cynic, but I am also a romantic if that's possible. Cynically romantic. I will have to open a new blog, to explore this idea.
By the way I was around 19 when the other thing happened. There seems to be a theme running with that which I have to explore sometime.

hmmmm, that is quite different, how old were you? My other event really took around 8 years to play out and I'm not sure it is over. In 1998 I had a powerful vision in the woods behind my house that I would be hit with a rock in the back of the head. It was vivid but vague. It was just a picture in my mind that a rock came out of the sky and hit me, I even flinched when it first happened.

I had been doing some painting around this time of my life but put it away for years. Fast forward to 2005 and I'm talking with my roommate and he told me a story about a vivid dream he had in which he is impaled. I told him of my vision and he said "hey maybe you're gonna die from a rock to the head and I'm gonna be impaled". We both laughed and moved on...fast forward 3-4 months and I had started painting again for the first time since 1998 (it's winter 2005).

I finished several new pieces and decided to hang them on my wall with the old pieces from '98. This is actually Christmas Eve night '05 and I started to walk out of my room to go to a friends party. As I passed the newly posted artwork on my wall a loud voice in my head said "Don't go!" and that's all it said but it was loud and clear. I couldn't understand why I should not go, it seemed illogical. So I hopped on my bike and went to the party but didn't quite make it cause I wrecked on my bike and fractured my skull (in the back of my head) on the pavement. I spent 2 days in ICU and 5 total in the hospital before getting out b/c I had incurred a brain injury.
Well, believe it or not, that was the short version of the story but it made me believe that we do have a powerful intuition that may have understanding of events long before they actually occur. Einstein himself said that time and space are the same and that past, present, and future occur simultaneously. I believe it and I try to listen to my intuition now even if it seems to defy logic.

Nice one. Didn't think anyone would be brave enough! So I promised to tell mine...... mmmmmmmm, oh all right.
I closed my eyes and these smoke ring type things came towards me and then I was going along a tunnel of smoke rings, faster and faster. Suddenly I found myself on a kind of plateau and there was a young man in a trench coat holding his hand out for me to take it. I said "Oh my God!"
I was kinda scared, but he looked nice. Any way after that he turned around and faded away, I travelled backwards, really fast, the way I came and bumped back onto my bed.
I always wonder what would have happened if I had taken his hand. It wasn't a dream, definately.

I woke up when I was about 7 years old and my He-man fortress was floating in the middle of my room and glowing green. That was the earliest of my supernatural experiences. I had another one as an adult but it is a long story and not something visual so much as a foretelling of the future.
