I About to Be a Grandma

39 Year Old Grandmother

I just found out that I am going to be a 39 YEAR OLD GRANDMOTHER. My daughter is only 22 and obviously I would love to have seen her more settled in her relationship/finances but he is a great guy and I cannot help but be THRILLED!! Any tips for me going into this new world would be appreciated!

    Aww that is so sweet, My Daughter made me a Grandma on Saturday 12th May and the young age of 37, she's 18 and honestly it was amazing, she and her partner asked me to be there at the birth and she delivered 6lb 8 Daisy after a 2 hour labour exactly how I delivered her.

    A big congratulations from me, you will love every minute of it :)

    You are about to enter into a world of a different kind of love.I have a 6 year old granddaughter and a 2 year old grandson and they are the little lights of my eyes!!!

    What a blessing. Congrats. I'm not a grandmother but I was a young mother so I can give advice from my view and that would be let her be the mother and she will make mistakes and fall but let her do it on her own. Don't push on her how you used to do things because things have changed a great deal since she was a child. x
