So, I Just Posted A Question On The Same Subject As This Group Here On Experience Project.

And I had some azz-hat pop up and tell me I have an 'axe to grind' and pitch a temper tantrum when I deleted his comment as not being helpful to my discussion.  It only reinforced how much I detest stupidity.

I cut slack if I know someone is very young, or if I suspect English not to be their primary language.  What pizzes the fvck out of me is these people that refuse to use a basic spellchecker and just throw up whatever pigvomit comes off their fingers and through the keyboard.  And don't even get me fvcking started on 'netspeak'.

The written word has taken such a beating in this Internet age, and it just frustrates me to no end.  Add to this the 'Walmart People'... the unwashed, proletarian, defiantly-uneducated, stupidity-glorifying masses... and you have my irk.

If that makes me an intellectually-elitist b!tch, then so be it.

I can't stand Netspeak, either. I especially love it when I ask people not to use it and they have a meltdown. In ten years, I'm betting that 'u' will be considered an acceptable, informal spelling for 'you' and the thought makes me cringe.

You have a point. I do believe I will bring some of the worse offenders over. I had been just deleting their remarks as not productive to my discussion, but now that I have this group, they will be... celebrated here for posterity. :-)

Isn't it more fun to make fun of bad examples....or at least have one to point to?
