This happened when I was about 6-7 years old or so. My brother and I found a small frog in the yard, and brought it inside to be our pet. We kept it for a while, until my mom told us it was time to release him into the wild. We took him to a small pond behind our house and let him go.

A few months later, I was playing outside the house and I spotted a large frog in the garden. I had some sort of a container in my hands. To this day I don't know why I did what I did next. I don't know if I was scared or what. I took the container and hit the frog over and over again until he was dead. The poor frog just sat there and allowed himself to be killed.

My mom came around the front of the house, and saw the dead frog. She then told me that it was our pet frog--all grown up and come back to visit. The thought had not occurred to me before that. To this day I cry when I think about what I did. I cannot even look at a frog without getting a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. .

if it makes you feel any better, the odds that it was the same frog are very slim. But it is very endearing that you feel the way you do when you think about it. Like when someone cries watching a sad movie.... Like me, cheer up!

I drowned one if my birds in a bowl of water once .. & I put my hamster in the microwave... It happens

That's not normal....the bird thing maybe but the microwave... Woah lol

Lol. Yea I was 10. I washed my hamster & wanted to try him off. The hair dryer time so.. Well... Let's just say 3:00 is too much time

Hair dryer broke**

Kids do the craziest things, and unfortunately we have to learn lessons about life and death the hard way sometimes.
