Intelligence Does Not Equal Education

I really have limited patience with willful stupidity.

All the education in the world does not create intelligence, it just means you have taken more classes.

My personal definition is based more on the ability to think for yourself and look at all sides of an issue, Not just repeating what others have said without any thought at all.

I have found that I can often have a more intelligent conversation with my 14 y/o daughter than with many adults I am acquainted with. :(  I find that so sad for them.

    Your daughter is still relatively 'new' to our world and is curious to learn more; thankfully, she has chosen you to be her confidant. It is important for you both to respect and care for each other during this stage in your lives.



    She may temporarily withdraw from this relationship to some degree during the next few years, as she establishes bonds within her peer group. If this happens, the early trust established between you should eventually bring her back to you.



    When she too realizes that there aren't many intelligent people to be found, she will guard you close to her heart.
