Ma passed on in 2007, and I still miss her and love her very much. She was an amazing woman, and her loss has left a gaping hole in my heart. All through my growing-up, she cooked dinner every night and baked two pies and a cake on Saturdays, cleaned the house, did the laundry, and worked outside among her trees and flowers to make the house look nice. She could freeze you with a glare, if you'd done something wrong, but her soft, cool hand could ease a raging migraine headache. And on top of that, she had a keen intellect and a great sense of humor! I am so grateful for her love and care, for me and all our family. I love you, Ma! I'll be there when my chores here are through...

How blessed you were to have her!

That is certainly true! :-) I was indeed.

I'm sorry for your loss. She will always live in your memories and in your heart.

Yes, she will -- and does. Thank you! :-)
