I Admire Strong, Confident Women
I absolutely love and admire strong, confident women.
I like a woman who is self-assured, and can be herself - doesn't care what others think.
A woman who can speak her mind, and with her words can comfort, support, heal, lure you in, but just as easily can cut you with the sharpness of her words and tone.
A woman who is intelligent.
A woman who demands respect.
A woman who loves men, but doesn't need on to be happy or feel complete.
A woman who doesn't put up with crap from men, they realize they are better than that.
A woman who doesn't need (or want) to sleep with another woman's man.
A woman who is loyal to her friends, and doesn't ditch them when a guy comes around.
A woman who supports other women instead of sizing them up, viewing them as threats and putting them down.
A woman who is empowered and empowers others.
A woman who is genuine and sincere.
A woman who doesn't follow gender-biased rules and expectations.
A woman who isn't afraid to express her sexuality and sensuality.
A woman who realizes her value and her worth, and doesn't settle for anything less.
I didn't have many female friends growing up because they were nothing like any of the things I described above.
I had no female role models - none. But as I have grown, I have found that these types of women do exist, and no matter what, I want to be my own role model. I want to be the type of woman that I would respect.
I have found many women on here who I admire, just from reading their stories and the way they write and it's refreshing. So thank you all.
