I Almost Died
...and things were rather "iffy" for several days after that. If not for a wonderful critical care doctor named Stuart Willes, I most likely would not be here today.
Also, not sure if this counts, but I was at the rest stop off of I-70 at the same time the D.C. snipers were there hiding out and later arrested.
With the exception of a situation such the first one I briefly described, none of us really know how many brushes with death we have...
