I'm Glad I Am...

I've always been different.

I don't want to be the same as everybody else and I like being me.

I choose to keep myself separate from the in-crowd, although my work means that I have alot of clients who are girls about town. I often get asked to come along, but always politely decline. I have my own small group of good friends :)

Dont get me wrong, I love to work and be involved in the hussle and bustle, but I like to keep most people at arms length.

I also like to wear what I like, rather than what's fashionable and I don't like to go shopping or spend too much personal time with females. I find they drain my positivity and are needy.

Lots of people through the years have used the word 'quirky' to describe me. I quite like it.

Some people have tried to change me, some have tried to copy me and buy the things that Ive bought. One even told me they considered it a personal challenge to 'have influence' over me. I ran a mile and only looked back to wonder what else they thought I would do, lol

I'm not better. Or worse. I am just quirky me :)

I totally understand! I never really got along with many females. I used to like hanging with everyone but it seems that how drama gets started. I like being me also! The originality is what it means to be different! I have never considered myself to being normal in any sort of the word!

Being happy with yourself is so important.

quirky is good
