"Love Ya Goodbye"

That's my least favorite way to end a conversation/phone call/etc.  If I'm going to say "I love you," then I say "I love you."  My mom likes to use not responding as a way to remind us when she's mad at us, and that makes me angry and hurt sometimes.  You don't always have to like your family, but you are supposed to love them.  But she tends to hold grudges, so I've learned to just let it go if she is being difficult.  I found myself copying her occasionally when I'm fighting with my fiance, but as soon as he pointed out that I was acting like my mom, I made a point of stopping.  :)  I guess for me, it goes back to the adage about not letting the sun go down on your anger.  I think that no matter whether or not you're fighting or angry or hurt, it's important to know that you still care... especially about family members and loved ones.

Never go to bed angry is my grandparents secret to marriage, and it has worked for 60 years.
