Makeup Is Fun For Me.

I remember being so excited when I was finally allowed to wear makeup when I was younger. It was like a rite of passage to finally be able to wear makeup. I love going into the makeup aisle and buying fresh mascara.
When I was in the Army, I never wore makeup with my uniform because, to me, that just looks silly. I didn't think I was ugly without it, so I know that if I had to live without makeup I could.
When I was first married to my husband, he didn't understand why I wore makeup because his sisters and Mother do not bother with the stuff. It just seemed strange to him, but he doesn't really mind.
I tend to just stick with the eyes. I don't like the feeling of foundation or powders on my face, and it's itchy, so I save the foundation, blush, and lipstick for special occasions.
I don't know why people who don't wear makeup have such strong feelings against it. It's their choice not to wear it, and it's my choice to wear it. Some people do cake it on, but it's their face and if that is how they like it, so be it. I don't judge. Wear it, don't wear it, wear a lot. Whatever makes you happy.

Edit: This was true a few years ago, but now I go out all the time without makeup on. It really depends what I am doing that day.

Maybe they feel like painters have better chances on the male market, and thus are frustrated? I don't know, I have never met anyone who had truly been against make up. ;P <br />

But your right, for each of their own.
