t is a rare occaision that I'm not wearing at least my "basics" - eyeliner, foundation, powder. Those are the bare minimum essentials that I NEVER leave home without and have a spare in my car for those end of the day touch-ups. I prefer to not be rushed when I'm getting ready, so I have time to play around and experiment with different looks.
I don't see applying my makeup as a chore, but more like my little chunk of "me time" that I get each day in preparation to head out into whatever activity I'm about to be involved in. Sometimes it takes longer than I would like if I'm low on time, but if items need cut from my routine... the "basics" aren't on that list. :-)
