Discovered By Accident At 34

Looking for my birth certificate was becoming a nightmare... I needed it to go with my application to immigrate to Australia.

I wasn't worried though because I lived close to the town where I was born and thought I could nip down there and get a copy.

When I filled out the form and gave it to the lady behind the counter I thought I would be there 10 minues or half an hour at the most.

4 hours later I left with no birth certificate and the news, from the registrar, that I hadn't appeared in the NORMAL children's register but in the Adopted Children Register.

A total stranger's words completely changed my life. it would never be the same again.

I had been lied to ALL MY LIFE by the people who supposedly love me!

what lie exactly was told?

Wow! What a way to find out. Are you in Australia now? Were you able to immigrate?
